Training for taking a professional exam for creating a disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan

According to Article 21 of the Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 87/2018), training for taking a special professional exam for the preparation of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan is organized and conducted by legal entities which are authorized to organize and implement this training by the Ministry.

 

ALMAKS DOO BELGRADE received a DECISION from the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Department for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Serbia giving AUTHORIZATION to organize and conduct training for passing a special professional exam for the preparation of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan (Decision No. 217-333 /21, 31.03.2021).

 

In accordance with the Rulebook on the professional exam for the preparation of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan ("Official Gazette of RS", no. 20/2019), a person who wants to be a candidate for taking the professional exam, is required to attend training.

 

The training ensures an easier, consistent and uniform application of the Law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management, provides basic guidelines for the preparation of disaster risk assessments and protection and rescue plans, i.e. guidelines for the precise identification and assessment of disaster risks, clear determination of preventive and operational response measure and the bearer of the realization of the tasks of protecting and rescuing people and goods from the consequences of disasters, with the aim of efficient management of emergency situations and organized response to disasters.

 

After completing the training, the candidate acquires the right to take the exam. At the professional exam, the professional competence of the candidate for the organization and preparation of the disaster risk assessment and the protection and rescue plan is checked.

Who is the training intended for?

Professional training is organized for individuals as a prerequisite for taking the professional exam before the commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and obtaining a license for risk assessment. After the training is completed, a Certificate of Completion of Training is issued for the preparation of risk assessment and protection and rescue plans.

What can we expect at the training?

The training consists of a theoretical part and a practical part and is implemented in accordance with the Training Plan and Program.

Through the theoretical part of the training, the candidates are presented with the legal regulations in the field of emergency situations and protection and rescue systems, as well as the method of preparing the Disaster Risk Assessment and the Protection and Rescue Plan.

The practical part of the training consists of a simulation of creating a disaster risk assessment and a protection and rescue plan.

Participants will receive all material and literature necessary for taking the exam in electronic format.

Who are the lecturers?

The training is conducted by licensed persons with many years of experience in the preparation of documents in the field of emergency situations.

How long is the training?
  1. The training lasts a total of 32 lessons divided into 4 days. The dates of the training will be announced later in accordance with the number of registered participants. The minimum number of candidates for organizing training is 8, while the maximum number of candidates per group is 15.

Where is the training held?

ALMAKS DOO BELGRADE organizes trainings in its premises in Belgrade at Gospodara Vučića 129.

What are the requirements for attending the training?

The condition for attending the training is that the participant has at least a university degree and acquired 240 ESP points (master academic, specialist academic, specialist vocational, or basic academic studies lasting at least four years).

How much does the training cost?

The price of the training per participant is RSD 30,000, excluding VAT. Candidates who want to join the training must make a payment, as this is the only way to secure a place in the group.

How can I apply to take the professional exam?

The candidate has the obligation to submit an application for taking the professional exam within a period that cannot be longer than 15 days from the end of the training.

Passing the professional exam costs RSD 15,000, excluding VAT, and is paid to the account of the organizer of the professional exam.

Documents required for application are:

  • form Applications for passing the professional exam
  • diploma on the level and type of education (certified transcript or certified copy of the diploma on the acquired higher professional qualification at studies lasting at least four years, i.e. at least 240 ESP points obtained)
  • a photocopy of an ID card or an extract from an electronic reader of a biometric ID card;
  • proof of payment of the costs of taking the professional exam - certified by the bank or certified payment slip
  • certificate of completed training - issued by ALMAKS DOO BELGRADE;
What does taking the exam look like?

The organizer of the exam (Almaks doo Belgrade) informs the candidate no later than 20 days before the date set for taking the exam about the date, time and place of taking the exam. The date of the exam (date of taking) cannot be longer than 60 days from the end of the training.

The professional exam is taken before the examination commission for taking the professional exam in the field of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan, which is formed by decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs from among the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Sector for Emergency Situations. The decision on the formation of the commission determines its composition and determines the president, members, that is, examiners and the secretary, as well as their deputies.

 

The exam consists of a general and a special part.

The general part of the professional exam is taken in writing by solving an individual task in the area of disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan.

Solving the written part of the task takes 180 minutes. After the evaluation of the written part, the candidate who has passed the general part of the exam can take the special part of the exam.

 

The special part of the exam is taken orally and consists of three exam areas: protection and rescue system, disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan. A combination consisting of three questions is drawn from each area.

 

The candidate who has passed the general and special part of the exam is issued a License for preparing disaster risk assessment and protection and rescue plan.

What are the conditions for retaking the exam?

Retaking and making up the professional exam is carried out if the candidate has not passed the whole or a certain part of the professional exam.

 

A candidate who has not passed the entire exam can take the exam in the next term (re-sit).

Retaking the exam costs RSD 15,000, excluding VAT, and is paid to the account of the professional exam organizer.

  • proof of payment of the costs of taking the professional exam - certified by the bank or payment slips

 

A candidate who passed the general part of the professional exam, but received a negative grade in the special part of the exam, takes the field that he did not pass. Retaking the exam is possible a maximum of two times, otherwise it will be considered that the candidate has not passed the entire exam.

Remedial part of the professional exam is 50% of the full price of taking the exam, i.e. RSD 7,500.00 excluding VAT.

  • form Applications for passing the professional exam where it is necessary to indicate the exam area that is being taken.
  • proof of payment of remedial examination costs - certified by the bank or certified payment slip
