Training for obtaining licenses under the Law on Private Security
According to the law on private security (Official Gazette of the RS No. 104/13, 42/15 and 87/18), private security services can be performed by legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons who have a license to perform private security services, issued by the Ministry ( Article 8).
The first step towards obtaining an appropriate license to engage in private security services for legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons is to attend professional training for private security services. Training can be conducted by the Ministry, legal entities and natural persons who meet the technical, professional and personnel requirements for training, and who have been authorized by the Ministry (Article 13).
On the basis of the received Decision for the implementation of professional training for the performance of private security work 03.15.3 number 2/19 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated 16.05.2019, Almaks d.o.o. Belgrade meets the necessary conditions for training in accordance with the Rulebook on programs and methods of conducting training for the performance of private security services, as well as all material, technical, professional and personnel conditions.
- A natural person who wishes to obtain a license to perform private security services shall submit to the Ministry, that is, to an authorized legal or natural person, an application for the training of natural persons to perform private security services (Article 14).
- Persons who have completed the training of natural persons for the performance of private security services take a professional exam at the Ministry (Article 14).
- Legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons who meet the prescribed conditions are issued a license for a period of five years.
