Improvement of infrastructure
One of the numerous new projects of the Almax company is the Project to improve the business infrastructure in the industrial park in Smederevo, which increased general security, and which the European Union financed with 276,000 euros through the EU PRO development program. The performed works included the construction of a substation, installation of LED lighting, video surveillance and fire protection system.
In this way, along with the improvement of business conditions for the existing five companies that employ about 2,500 workers, the attractiveness of the location in the industrial park increased, as well as the interest of new investors., and the City of Smederevo, which participates in the project with around 50,000 euros, will be able to respond to their needs with the support of the EU and the Government of Serbia.
The works, which began on August 19, 2019, were carried out by a group of contractors represented by Almaks doo Belgrade, selected in the public procurement procedure conducted by the City of Smedrevo. In the following period, the technical reception and preparation of final project reports is expected, for which the deadline according to the contract that the City of Smederevo has with the EU PRO program is June 2020.
Increasing the security and lighting of the Smederovo industrial park was realized with the latest technology equipment.
- For the purpose of monitoring roads within the industrial park in Smederevo, a wireless Wi-Fi video surveillance system was implemented that enables global recording of all roads and intersections, as well as recording of details at main intersections and associated roads. The video surveillance system provides monitoring of events in real time and archiving of recorded material for a minimum duration of 30 days, as defined by the current Law on Private Security. Monitoring of traffic roads and management of the video surveillance system will be carried out from a remote monitoring center equipped with the most modern technological solutions and a video wall that allows comfortable monitoring of all cameras in real time and review of recorded material - said the project leader from the Almax company.
